The Role We’re looking for a proactive and passionate Senior Front-End Engineer to take the lead on developing the applications that will bring our vision to life. This isn't just a coding role; it's a leadership position. You will be the driving force behind our front-end architecture, building the beautiful, fast, and scalable interfaces using React.js and React Native that will form the core of our human-centric community platform. You will be a pivotal bridge between our engineering and marketing teams, translating our vision for a more connected world into polished, functional products that our users will love. What You'll Do - Architect & Build: Take ownership of our front-end codebase. Design and build responsive, scalable, and performant web and mobile applications using React.js, React Native, and Tailwind CSS. - Lead & Collaborate: Act as a key technical voice in product decisions. Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, marketing, and back-end engineers to bring ideas to life. You take guidance and suggestions and turn them into action. - Champion Best Practices: Establish and advocate for front-end best practices in code structure, testing, and maintainability to ensure we build a world-class product. - Optimize & Innovate: Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical debt. You see opportunities for optimization and you seize them. - Communicate Effectively: Clearly articulate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. - Mentor: As our team grows, you'll help mentor future developers and contribute to a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement. What You'll Bring (Our Ideal Candidate) Technical Expertise: - Deep expertise in React.js and/or React Native, including best practices for component architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand), and performance. - Strong proficiency with Tailwind CSS and a solid understanding of modern CSS principles. - Solid grasp of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.). Leadership & Initiative: - A proven track record of taking ownership of projects from concept to completion. - A proactive, "get it done" mindset. You don’t wait for tasks; you identify needs and create solutions. - The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Collaboration & Communication: - Exceptional communication skills. You can explain complex ideas clearly and concisely. - Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams, especially with marketing and design. - You are coachable and collaborative, valuing feedback from all members of the team.
